OUR COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE
Our Family Business:
1-A Services has come a long way since we first opened our doors in 1996. Back then, it was just Brian Wagoner, fresh off buying the company from his mentor, W.L. Turner. Armed with little more than a toolbelt, a truck, and a trusty Mapsco map (yes, before GPS!), Brian and his two kids made countless memories crisscrossing the metroplex, testing backflows, installing irrigation systems, and plumbing their way into history.
From the start, Brian’s priority has been clear: do what it takes to keep food on the table and take care of the people who depend on him. Life has thrown its fair share of curveballs, but Brian has knocked every single one out of the park. That determination is what has kept us in business for nearly three decades and drives us to deliver top-notch service every single time.

Before plumbing stole his heart, Brian was a mechanic working for companies like Coca-Cola. (And yes, he can probably still fix your car in a pinch.) But once he discovered the mechanical intricacies of plumbing and the trades, he was hooked. Under Brian’s leadership, 1-A Services has taken on huge projects, including building laboratories for major companies like Lennox, First Co., Underwriters Laboratories, and Intertek—places that rely on perfectly crafted spaces to test air conditioners and other critical systems.
But if you ask Brian what his greatest accomplishment is, he won’t hesitate: it’s his family. Brian is endlessly proud of his wife, Regina Wagoner, and their now-grown kids. Regina has been by his side at 1-A Services from the beginning. She’s the real boss (and owner!) of the company, bringing her expertise from her former career as an HR manager into the fold. After a less-than-pleasant exit from the corporate world, she found her groove at 1-A and hasn’t looked back. These days, Brian and Regina’s world revolves around their three adorable grandkids.
Now, let’s talk about me, Corbin Moyer—licensed Master Plumber, HVAC Contractor, Backflow Tester, Field Supervisor, and (as Brian and Regina will confirm) their favorite son-in-law. Okay, okay, I’m also their only son-in-law, but hey, the title still stands! I’m also the proud dad to their grandkids.
Believe it or not, I didn’t always dream of wielding a pipe wrench. I grew up wanting to be a pilot and even earned my Private Pilot’s license with an Instrument rating. Life had other plans, though, and after a stint in college (where I snagged a prestigious Associate’s degree in Fine Arts—big stuff, I know), Brian asked if I’d like to join the family business. At the time, it sounded a whole lot better than my current gig, so I jumped in—and I’ve never looked back. Over the past 11+ years, I’ve fallen in love with the puzzle-solving aspect of plumbing, backflow, and HVAC work.
Brian has been my mentor since the day I married into the family, and I’m honored to help him step into retirement in early 2024, knowing the business is in good hands.
Here’s the thing: none of this—our careers, our memories, or even this family legacy—would be possible without you, our incredible customers. From day one, our goal has been simple: to provide the absolute best service possible. We know there are companies out there that cut corners, leave their employees unsupported, and sell cheap products that cause more headaches down the road. That’s not us.
We believe in doing the job right the first time. We use the products we’d want in our own homes and deliver services we’re proud to put our name on. One of my favorite things is showing my kids pictures of the work I’ve done—whether it’s a beautifully installed system or a particularly tricky job we nailed.
To all of you who’ve invited us into your homes and businesses and trusted us year after year: thank you. Your loyalty means more to us than words can ever express.

With gratitude,
Corbin Moyer
